Take the tour

As an international coffee distribution business, we have 15 packing lines that can pack into a wide range of coffee packaging formats including:

Chris Tough

Coffee Buyer

Chris joined the Lincoln & York team in July 2018 as Marketing Manager, where his role included everything from organisation and execution of our trade shows to relaunching the L&Y website and design and implementation of marketing collateral, right through to supporting our customers with marketing tools and data insight.

After almost 3 years of managing and growing our Marketing department, Chris had well and truly fallen in love with the world of coffee and wanted to take his career in the industry to the next level. With his incredible knowledge, experience within the business and passion for coffee, Chris decided to move over to our coffee team as Coffee Buyer. Chris wanted the opportunity to delve deeper into the coffee world and felt there was nowhere else he would be given the opportunity and support to move from a marketing role into a purchasing role, like he has received here at L&Y. Chris is doing well in the new role and is excited to become a fully qualified Q Grader soon.

Ewelina Kowalczyk

Sales Executive

Ewelina joined Lincoln and York 14 years ago, in October 2007, as a packer in the roastery. Keen to learn different areas of the business, Ewelina then moved onto the printing and designing of labels through to roasting samples and production planning – all areas she thoroughly enjoyed. However, Poland was calling and Ewelina decided to move back home with her family.

After 11 years of service, there was an opportunity for Ewelina to stay on as part of the Lincoln & York team but this time – within the sales team. In 2018, Ewelina became our Sales Executive based in Poland, reporting into Lucy our National Account Manager here in the UK. Ewelina now manages our export accounts which she really enjoys as she loves to be close to our customers to ultimately help them grow their businesses.

Arleta Bandkowska

Project Manager

In Feb 2007, as a 20 year old girl, Arleta joined L&Y as a Packing Operative. Only having arrived in the UK 3 months previously, Arleta didn’t know much about England, the local culture or banter, but since then has worked with a great variety of people which has helped her settle down, progress her English and develop a varied skill set. Arleta doesn’t like to stand still for too long however, and consequently has held many roles here at Lincoln & York including Machine Operator for 5 years where she enjoyed finding solutios to machine breakdowns, working as a team on the factory floor and helping her colleagues out, Quality Assistant for 4 months where she got to see the business from different angles and learn from other departments, Production Planning and Logistics Coordinator for 3 months, followerd by a promotion to Factory Supervisor in 2014 where everyday was different and having to think outside the box and on her feet was the daily norm. With all this invaluable experience under her belt, Arleta has recently been promoted again to Project Manager.

Since starting work here at L&Y, Arleta has also had the opportunity to complete many qualifications as outlined below:

  • 2021 Level 2 HACCAP Training Course
