Will You Offer Reusable Cups In Your Coffee Shop?

 In Coffee News

There’s no doubt that public opinion about single-use plastic and other disposable items, like coffee cups, has changed significantly in the past year.

Once you’ve selected who to use for your private label coffee roasting, the next thing to consider is whether you plan to sell reusable coffee cups in-store for people to purchase when picking up their caffeine fix.

A rising number of coffee shops in the UK are doing this, but you need to make sure that whatever alternatives you’re offering, they’re of a high quality.

In fact, there are a growing number of options that are not only designed to be reusable for a number of years, but are also recyclable at the end of their lifecycle. The rCup, which is made from used paper cups, is designed to be exactly that, Retail Times recently reported.

There’s also the ECoffee Cup, which was picked as one of the top reusable options by Her earlier this month. These cups are made from bamboo fibres and are biodegradable once they reach the end of their life.

A number of tempered glass reusable coffee cups are also available, the majority featuring silicon or rubber grips to enable you to handle them safely and to add a splash of colour to the design. Keep Cup is a classic example of this.

Of course, you could always order reusable cups that feature your branding. These may appeal to your regular customers and can be a great tool for advertising your business in your local area.
