Lincoln & York Featured In Grimsby University Newsletter!

 In Coffee News

The University of Grimsby has just launched a new Maintenance Operations Engineering Technician (MOET) Apprenticeships newsletter – and we here at private label coffee company Lincoln & York are proud to announce that we’ve been featured in the very first publication.

We’re this issue’s Employer in the Spotlight, because we’re one of the university’s MOET employers and have apprentices from the college on our books, Zach Garrod being one of them.

The university’s James Danby came to see us at Elsham in Brigg to meet Zach and part of our management team, including engineering manager Marc Rockall, production manager Ian McCall and factory manager Jeff Kidd.

Jeff explained that this is an exciting opportunity for Lincoln & York, as well as for Zach, and the whole team is looking forward to working closely with him over the next ten months while he finishes college. After that, Zach will be joining the team in Elsham as part of the engineering department.

Zach had this to say: “I feel privileged to have been chosen by Lincoln and York for this apprenticeship. We are currently based at the Grimsby Institute Engineering Centre where we are making full use of all the fantastic equipment. The tutors are really helpful and my company is very supportive. I have always been interested in engineering and I’m really enjoying the apprenticeship so far.”

If you’d like to find out more about this kind of opportunity and want to take advantage in the way that Zach has done, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us today.
